Warfield Gas New Supplier!

The Warfield Gas station is happy to announce we have finally chosen a new supplier!! We will be partnering with Petro-Canada! Unfortunately, in order to change over to Petro-Can we will need to do some renovations to our existing fuel area. This renovation is scheduled to begin October 15th and the projected completion date is November 9th. During this time, we will not be able to pump any gasoline or diesel, however, we will still have the store open and will also be able to dispense propane. We apologize for the inconvenience we know this will cause, but as we know with any renovation, the end result is worth the wait! Thank you for your patience and understanding, we look forward to seeing you in November (if not before) when we are officially Warfield Petro-Can!

“Some notably Canadian oil companies, such as Suncor, Canadian Oil Sands and Husky, are predominantly owned by non-Canadians,” said the report. “The data also shows us that more than half of Canada’s oil and gas revenue goes to foreign entities.”
The analysis, which also used production data in January from OilsandsReview, a publication that focuses on unconventional oil issues, found $11.7-billion of investments in oilsands production between 2007 and 2011 were coming from China, making up about 16% of the total investments of $73.6-billion in that time period.
