Trail & District Arts Council presents Triple Threat Experience’s The Lion King JR featuring the students from the 3-Week Summer Intensive. 

Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world. And now, the African savannah comes to life on The Bailey stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle... and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

The Lion King Jr. is being performed by participants in our 3-week Triple Threat Summer Intensive program. Young performers aged 7-17 are trained in all three disciplines of acting, singing and dancing and then wrap-up the course with a full scale musical theatre production performed before a live audience.

Music and Lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice, Additional Music and Lyrics by Lebo M, Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin and Hans Zimmer, Book By Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi, Based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor.

Admission is $15, $12 for kids (12 and under)

No Intermission

Presented with the help of Steps Dance Centre in Trail.
