Wonder Woman 1984 at the Silver Screen Drive-in

June 26 9:30 to 11:20 pm

Leap into the action as your favourite Amazonian returns in “Wonder Woman 1984” on Saturday, June 26 at 9:30 pm, a fun Day-Glo celebration of the decade.

Wonder Woman Diana Prince lives quietly among mortals in the vibrant, sleek 1980s - an era of excess driven by the pursuit of having it all. She maintains a low profile by curating ancient artifacts at the Smithsonian Museum, and only performing heroic acts incognito. But after an ancient artifact that grants wishes goes missing, Diana must gather all her strength, wisdom, and courage as she finds herself squaring off against… everyone! As a dear old friend from the past miraculously enters the picture, Wonder Woman must fight her own worst impulses as well as Maxwell Lord, whose desire for extreme wealth sends the world down a path of destruction, and the Cheetah, a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility, just like Wonder Woman! And yes, this time she does have her invisible jet! Can mighty Wonder Woman save humankind once again!

"Wonder Woman 1984 is a technicolor, lighthearted romp through the era of Jazzercise, big hair, and even bigger shoulder pads." Sheri Flanders, Chicago Reader

Thursday we bring you “Alone Across the Arctic” the epic journey of explorer Adam Shoalts who embarks on an estimated 4000 km journey across the Canadian Arctic by canoe and on foot, alone. Friday, we take you back in time with funny, famous hosers, Bob and Doug McKenzie (Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas) in “Strange Brew”.
