Jumanji The Next Level at the Silver Screen Drive-in

Fantasy, action, adventure, and comedy for the whole family as the Silver Screen Drive-in presents “Jumanji: The Next Level” on Saturday, July 24 at 9:15 pm!  

The gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to rescue one of their own, the players will have to brave parts unknown from arid deserts to snowy mountains, to escape the world's most dangerous game.

When Spencer misses the confidence he felt as the video game avatar Dr. Smolder Bravestone he returns to Jumanji, where the life and death challenges somehow seem more familiar and easier to handle than real life. When his friends realize he’s missing they re-enter the game, along with some new, much older, additions, to bring him home. But the game is now broken -- and fighting back. So, the friends journey through the desert to a castle on an icy mountaintop, with hold-your-breath perilous travels by dune buggy, rope bridge, and zeppelin. Everything the friends know about Jumanji is about to change, as they soon discover there's more obstacles and more danger to overcome.

About the Silver Screen Drive-in

The Royal Theatre and Trail & District Arts Council have joined forces to imagine your new, favourite summer experience, the Silver Screen Drive-in. Running from June to September, films will screen Thursday through Saturday at sunset in the Waneta Plaza upper parking lot. Upcoming films will include those event movies that you’ve missed seeing on a big screen, retro classics from comedy to horror, as well as those Sunday Cinema favourites been as well as Oscar winning independent films and documentaries. Plus, live performances of music, theatre, dance and more!
