"Resorting To Madness" film screening

Friday May 2, 2008 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Location: Rossland, BC
  Miner's Hall

Rossland's "Citizens for Responsible Development" is screening "Resorting To Madness- Taking Back Our Mountain Communities" at the Miner's Hall, Friday, May the 2nd.  Doors are at 7pm.

If you've read "Downhill Slide," or have been meaning to, this film will be right up your alley.  The film deals with ski resort development and development pressures in mountain towns.  A discussion and dialogue will follow the screening, an open-floor/mic format the norm.

See the trailer for Resorting To Madness at Coldstream Creative's website: http://www.coldstreamcreative.com/

We may also have a viewing of "The Lost People of Mountain Village," a 15 minute mockumentary that probes the longterm viability/sustainability of ski resort "towns;" no promises, but we'll see if we can fandangle it.

Hope to see you there.
