Concern about increasing climate chaos is leading to changes in personal choices and pressure on governments to take positive action. But other than driving less or turning out lights, what can we actually do to turn things around?
Surprisingly we all have the power to take action 3 times a day! Find out what the Food and Agriculture Organization and leading Peak oil and other experts have to say about lowering our impact on the planet the easy way.
Join us for a free one hour presentation by the President of Earthsave Canada. We will discuss the connection between gas prices, biofuels, the worldwide food crisis and climate change. They are all connected to one critical practice which we can all act on without waiting for government action.
The locations for this roadshow are: July 23 Penticton, 7:30pm, Penticton Community Centre July 24 Kelowna, 7:30pm, South Okanagan Health Unit July 28 Nelson, 7:30pm, Nelson Public Library (602 Stanley St.) July 29, Nakusp, 7:30pm, Nakusp Seniors Centre (210 8 Ave.) July 30, Trail, 7:30pm, United Church (1300 Pine Ave.)
