WOW road ride

Tuesdays Sep 30 to Oct 28, 2008 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Location: Rossland, BC
  Post Office sidewalk, 5 min grace period

NEW to Rossland (and area) - Women on Wheels (WOW) - a weekly women's road ride. Social, supportive and superduper! Come join us and give a whirl, you might like it. No obligation, no fees, no penalties (other than guilt after we know you a while but that's what support networks are for right!?) We meet Tuesdays in front of the Post Office at 6pm (5min grace) then head out to Nancy Green or dow to Patterson depending on the mood of the group, goals for the day, weather etc.

A Sunday long ride will be set up soon, details TBD.

I was away but now I'm back.  I have my Mom in town for a couple days but I hope to get out for a bit of a spin at least. I'll let you know for sure on Tues if work / obligations have swamped me. I can definately do a ride on Thurs if anyone is interested.

I'm going to try to make it out tonight but I do have a sore calf muscle, so we'll see how far I get. I'm hoping its one of those things where its stiff when you walk but you don't notice it when riding :)

I have a lot of yard work to do and I'm away next week so I think I have to say nea.  Thinking of changing to earlier time slot would that work for people? Wed better than Tues?

Ladies - I've had to change the date & time due to commitments and now that the sun is setting earlier (& it's colder).  We'll try this new time slot for a month and see how we do.  We'll modify from there, I think by Nov we'll hav eto ride down in Trail if we still want to get out.
