Rouge Gallery Grand Opening

A wonderful addition to downtown Rossland. Rouge gallery will be opening its doors to the public inviting art lovers to come experience the exceptional talent of our local visual artists. This space is co-operatively run by the Rossland Council for Arts and Culture (RCAC) and several artists/directors that are happy to declare a space dedicated to the arts. The Grand Opening will feature dozens of the artist members latest creations, some of which will be donated for a silent auction to raise funds for the start-up expenses of the gallery. The aim of Rouge is not only to showcase members work but also provide a headquarters for RCAC and introduce several other arts related events. Gallery Hours are 10 am-6pm seven days a week.

Ingrid Baker, Danielle Valade, Charlene Barnes, Martine Bedard, Louise Drescher,  Stephanie Gauvin,  Heather Good,  Christy Holden, Andy Holmes, Mary-Ann Kelly, John Lake,  Lasha Mutual, Theshini Naicker, Karla Pearce, Trisha Rasku, Jenny Baillie,  Claude Stormes, Jennifer Smith, Sarah Zanussi and Nora Fisher.

Do not miss the first gallery event on Sept. 25th at 7:30 when novelist and poet Marilyn Bowering will regale fans with readings from her latest work.
