Posting an Event
- Click 'Post an Event' in the Tools menu on the left.
- Type an appropriate title.
- Now you have several options for entering the date(s) of your event: set date, weekly event, or consecutive days. You may use any combination of these methods.
- Set date: Use this if your event is one day, or multiple days that are unrelated (not consecutive or weekly). You may enter different times of day for each date you enter.
- Weekly event: If you have an event on a specific day of the week (or more), use the weekly event. The time of day must be the same for each week and weekday you enter. If you have an event that runs Sundays at 10am and Tuesdays at 7pm, it might be best to enter two separate events.
- Consecutive days: If you have an event that is X days long and the same time each day, use consecutive days.
note: You may use more than one method for your event, for example, perhaps you have a yoga class every Monday morning, but you also have random Saturday classes, you would use weekly and set dates to cover both dates.
- Categories & Tags: Choose the type of event that you are entering from the list, then type keywords of interests associated with your event. This is so that people can filter when searching the calendar.
- Enter as much information as you would like about the event and contact person for the event. A description is required.
- Choose applicable group(s) that you would like this event to appear in. If you choose a group and uncheck public, only members of the group will see the event. If you click nothing, it will be public by default.
- Select the town that your event is taking place in by typing the first few letters of the town and choosing from the list that appears.

- Click submit and you're done! You can edit or delete your event by going to the full posting of the event and choosing 'edit' near the top of the page.
