Tour - Groups

The groups page allows you to search for interest groups, clubs, teams or societies in your location that you can browse or join. If you are not a member, you can only see posts that were made public and to the group. Also, you cannot see or post to the soapbox if you are not a member of that group.

You can view the group by clicking the thumbnail image, or the title of the group.

Group pages look similar to this:

1. You are here navigation: you will notice this has changed to the group, all links in the sub-navigation all apply to this group now. You can click this group title to go to the home page for the group.

2. Group Info: Displayed here is the info associated with a group that was entered by the group creator or admin in addition to location info and the attached image or logo.

3. Membership options: If you are not a member of the group, you will see a link here dependant on the group admin's setting choice: 'join now', 'request membership' or 'invite only'. If you are a member of the group, you will see your details here and you can choose to change your email settings or leave the group.
