Tour - The Home Page

The home page is a sneak peek at some of the other main pages from the area that you are visiting. The area that you are visiting is controlled by the "You are here" area or, if logged in, the My Town, My Hub, Inbox links. The very top navigation system tells you what you are viewing at any given time.

You will notice there is a short feed, mini calendar and a few users listed. See the image below for more details:

1. Location Navigation & Info: This area tells you what you are currently viewing and also give you the ability to view other locations. Click the white triangle to show a search bar and start typing in your desired location. This box will show a drop list of matching locations, choose the appropriate location and click 'Go'. If your town does not appear, you can request it to be included. View more information on town requests.

2. Main Navigation Bar: This bar displays a list of relevant links based on the location navigation (1). These links take you to the full page for each of the sections, under events you will see a full calendar, under photos you will see all galleries, etc.

3. Feed: This section displays the most recent activity happening in the location you are viewing. When people post content, comment on content or join the site, a note gets posted here. This is a great way to keep up with the activity that is happening on the site without looking through each section to find new content or comments. You can click 'view all' on the right side of the title to view the feed page and scroll back into the past.

4. Events: The mini-calendar is posted here so you can click on specific days you would like to view. A short list of upcoming events is listed here so you can see what is happening today and in the near future. Click 'view all' to view the full calendar, or each event posting to read more about that event.

5. People: Here is a short list of people that are registered in this location ordered by the most recently logged in. Click 'view all' to see a full list of the people who are registered in the currently viewed location.

If you are logged in, you will see an additional menu at the very top of the page:

1. My Town: This link takes you to the home page for the town that you have registered yourself in. You can adjust your home town by adjusting your profile settings.

2. My Hub: This is the area where you can view content that is relevant to yourself. You can view content that has been posted by your friends, your groups and yourself. Click here for more info.

3. Inbox: Here you can send and view messages to/from your friends and fellow group members.

4. Welcome / Log Out: Click on your user name here to edit your profile or click 'log out' to log yourself out of the site.
