TAKEN! FREEE: Warm Winter Boots for Working Outside

TAKEN! Gone to a good home. Thanks, Bhubble!

Koflach double mountaineering boots are great if you are working outside in the winter or even just shoveling snow at home. (No longer for mountaineering – or any activity like it!)

*Size: unisex approximately size 8 to 8.5. These are very forgiving in fit, so add a few insoles and thick socks and will probably fit a smaller foot like 7 to 7.5. Wear a thinner sock and will probably fit to size 9.

*Plastic shell with soft warm inner liner that easily pulls out to dry overnight.

*Full hard shank is supportive, makes it easy to walk in snow and protects foot from objects below.

IMPORTANT: These have climbed high glaciated peaks all over the world, but like me, they’re old now and retired from climbing. The thick plastic around the main part of the foot is holding strong: but the thin plastic around the ankle is deteriorating (although the liner still comes up above the ankle). So DO NOT use these for mountaineering, ice climbing, snowshoeing, or anything else in wild places where your life depends on them. They’re quite usable for keeping your feet warm while you build a house this winter,or load people on a lift, or use a shovel or snow blower.

Free is a good price.
