REMINDER from the Rossland Thrift Store: When and What Not to Donate ( no broken items please)

Many people ask " When is the Thrift taking Donations"?

The best approach is calling the Thrift Store at 250-362-0037, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning after 10:30am to see if we are accepting donations.   Our store is entirely run by volunteers and dependent on sorter avalability as to how quickly we can get through the piles. 

Also check the sign in the back of the building. Green means Please Donate. Red means Please Wait.

What Not to Donate: 

PLEASE no broken stuff  We don't have a repair service and our garbage and recycling bills are already huge 

- any helmets: ski, bike, hockey etc

- any car seats: Infant, Convertible, 3-In -1, Booster 

- ripped and stained clothing

- TVs

- large furniture: tables, chairs, etc

- baby walkers, high chairs and playpens
