Uber Rides kicking off tomorrow July 1

A new ride service is launching in Rossland and the surrounding area, kicking off on Canada Day. Whether you're heading to celebrations, need a lift to the Cedar Trail, or to Seven Summits, this new option is here to help.

The service will also offer rides to and from Red Resort, nearby condos, and airport transfers. With no consistent taxi service currently operating in town, this adds a much-needed option for both locals and visitors.

All ride requests will be considered within reason, with Rossland as the primary service area. Rides will be available mainly on weekends and holidays to start, with availability depending on demand and driver scheduling.

It’s great to have another way to get around—especially on busy event days.

Please note: All rides can only be requested or scheduled through the Uber app, so be sure to download it to your phone in advance.
