Telus, Koodo and Public are all owned by Telus and use the same network. You might see slower data speeds on Public because they are capped to 3G on the base packages. You should not notice a difference in coverage if moving from Telus to Koodo.

Have only used Koodo, Telus, and Public (in that order, over the last 15 years... presently with Public). Zero different in coverage between the 3 Telus-serviced brands.

I just switched to Koodo from virgin. Coverage is the same, customer service is severely lacking.
Been with Koodo for 5 years now; no Issues.
