Help Wanted - Program Facilitators for LEAP into Kindergym and Tiny Tots Cook programs in Trail

Here is a brief description of each position:

 

  1. Family Literacy Program Facilitator: LEAP into Kindergym

 

This part-time position involves facilitating the LEAP into Kindergym program (a physical education program) in Trail on Friday mornings beginning in January.

 

This position will start at 3 hours per week with a starting wage of $20.50 per hour. There may be opportunities to work more hours depending on your availability, interest, and skillset.

 

The LEAP into Kindergym Facilitator will:

 

  • Plan and deliver LEAP into Kindergym program to young children and their caregivers
  • Set up and take down program sites as needed – you may need to move tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Provide participants with resources and referrals to community services
  • Attend professional development sessions, community meetings, and staff meetings as required
  • Ensure required participant documents are completed and submitted to the coordinator

 

  1. Family Literacy Program Facilitator: Tiny Tots Cook

 

This part-time position involves facilitating once a month on Saturday mornings and co-facilitating one weekday morning, weekly. This position involves facilitating the Tiny Tots Cook program (a cooking class) in Trail beginning in January.

 

This position will start at 3 hours per week with a starting wage of $20.50 per hour. There may be opportunities to work more hours depending on your availability, interest, and skillset.

 

The Tiny Tots Cook Facilitator will:

 

  • Plan and deliver a cooking program to young children and their caregivers
  • Set up and take down program sites as needed – you may need to move tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Provide participants with resources and referrals to community services
  • Attend professional development sessions, community meetings, and staff meetings as required
  • Ensure required participant documents are completed and submitted to the coordinator
