Heya Folks! Its that time of the year again, and we are looking for a rad human to join our team at the farm! The ideal candidate: ~ will be able to commit to 4 days/week from April through until end of October ~ loves hard, physical work (read: full body workout with no gym!) in an outdoor environment ~ is a happy, positive, energetic person who will enjoy working with livestock (pigs/chickens), and enjoys being around kids (there's a wild, free range crew around daily). Likes to work hard and have fun! ~ can show up with good work ethic everyday, even in challenging weather (we work through rain, cold, hail, heat, smoke) ~ has passion for local food, small local regenerative farming and contributing to feeding our community good food! ~ can lift 50lbs ~ is open-minded and has a strong willingness to learn, coupled with good attention to detail.
This position can also be paired with hours at our farm store downtown, The Rooted Table Collective, if there is an interest in learning the sales/marketing end of our business. Starting wage is $20-$22, dependent on experience / qualifications. Tree planting experience is a big bonus! Interested?
