The Rooted Table is Rosslands 100% BC local specialty farm, food + goods shop located downtown on Columbia! We are hiring for one or two positions to start asap, can be full-time or part-time. We are eager to find a local who is interested in long-term work, but we are open to seasonal employees as well who can commit to starting asap and working through until the end of October. We are looking for folks who have exceptional customer service, are passionate about all things local, are excited to support local farms and food production, are open-minded and eager to learn about all of the amazing producers and small businesses we have in BC, and who have creative energy to bring to our team. Punctuality, reliability and a good work ethic are important characteristics we are looking for in the awesome humans we are looking to welcome. The Rooted Table is growing this year with an expanding delivery route, online store, and eventually a commercial kitchen. There is lots of opportunity to grow with us, especially if you bring any expertise to the table in terms of digital marketing, web design/development, POS systems, and retail kitchens that produce unique product lines. We are always on the hunt for an individual who can take on more of a management / supervisory role, so if you have experience in retail management and are interested in a more permanent position with greater responsibility, let us know, we'd love to chat about this opportunity! Starting wage is $20-$22, depending on experience / qualifications.
